Description
An introductory experience flight will include a short description of the basic principles of flight by a qualified pilot, followed by an introduction to the 2-seater single engine aircraft and its main characteristics. One introductory flight lasts approximately 35 minutes. Once on board the pilot will give a running commentary of what is happening. The pilot will handle the take off and climb and will demonstrate the primary effects of the controls (yaw, pitch and roll). At this point you will forget about the magnificent view, or about trying to spot your house, and will become engrossed in the wonders of flight. All too soon, alas, it will be time to return to earth.

A minimum age of 15 years old applies to voucher holders.
Due to aircraft limitations, voucher holders intending to fly must weigh no more than 90Kg and be no more than 6’3″ / 1.9m tall. This voucher is valid for 5 years and is for an introductory experience flight with a qualified pilot. It is not possible to hire aircraft or bring passengers on the flight. Most initial introductory flights are operated by a cohort of experienced members holding Private Pilots Licenses who have been approved to conduct these flights. They are non-instructional. If you decide to have a second flight with us it will be with a Flight Instructor and will involve an introduction to more formal flight instruction. If you have had a previous flight experience then you may request your flight be with an instructor.
