Met Éireann Self Briefing service |
| This is the official
Aviation self briefing service for Pilots in Ireland. The service is
free on the Internet but to use it you must register and login with Met
Éireann. To set up an account you should email briefing@met.ie |

Primarily
for the private pilot who wants good pre-flight weather. Official
aviation briefing information with TAF, METAR, Form 214 and Form 215
for free. A fee is payable for some additional stuff, including
airfield information. (This information is
official in the UK, but we had
objections from IAA examiners about its use in the Republic of Ireland,
just to let you know)! You will have to register when you first
visit, but that is free. |

really good satellite image site showing current images. For a wider
view of Northern Europe you can also go to Sat24. |

PHD Aviation |
| This is a excellent site where you can get TAF and METAR, and it has several current synoptic charts, and some satellite images. Also there is airport information available for most of the world, all for free. | |

text service. The information is not official for aviation use,
